Microsoft has launched it’s first app for the Android platform by arch-rival Google. This comes after Microsoft has launched a few apps for the iPhone by Apple. Named Tag, the app works on Android, iPhone, J2ME, Windows Mobile, Symbian S60 phones and Blackberry.

The official beta version of Chrome OS is available for download from a Google based site. The version is 0.4.223 beta.
