The end of 2011 saw the back-to-back releases of both the new iOS 5.0 and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich mobile operating systems by Apple and Google respectively. Microsoft has launched it’s first app for the Android platform by arch-rival Google. This comes after Microsoft has launched a few apps for the iPhone by Apple. Named Tag, the app works on Android, iPhone, J2ME, Windows Mobile, Symbian S60 phones and Blackberry.
